Equestrian Facility& performance horse training
Located in Fallon, Mt, which sits along the mighty Yellowstone River in Eastern Montana, Dukart's Ranch was established in 1952 by Hank and Pauline Gaub. The property was initially developed as a cattle ranch and farming operation. Dan and Shirley Dukart took over operations in the late 1980s and further developed the property and Bar over xy and x/diamond brands of Angus beef cattle. In 2020, 3rd generation daughter DeeAnn and her family - Chris, Cierra, and Skyler, started the property transition from strictly cattle to horse and cattle operations and land management. They introduced a range of equestrian activities including horseback riding, horse training, and horse breeding. This transition also involved the development of an equestrian facility, horse breeding/training program, and livestock brokering. As part of our commitment to sustainable land management, we have implemented various practices to preserve the natural beauty of the ranch and ensure the health and well-being of our livestock.
At Dukart's Ranch, siblings Cierra and Skyler Neumann train our performance quarter horses through Western gaming patterns. Both siblings are Washington State Horseman Western Gaming Champions who have participated in numerous events. Our mares have bloodlines to Jet Deck, Judge Cash, Frenchstreaktovegas, and Nine-Oh's KG stallions' lines. They are utilizing Western gaming events such as barrel racing, pole bending, figure eight, keyhole, Cal stake, and flags. The skills learned also allow the horse to enjoy the passion of competition and relationships with other herd horses. Nestled in the historic town of Fallon, Mt, the site of the once largest cattle shipping yard in Montana, or possibly the nation, depending on the person you ask and what coffee hour it is, one can leave behind the pressures of life and escape to the peace and calm of the countryside just 1/2 miles from Interstate 94. Managed on the incredible Eastern Montana landscape, Dukart's Ranch originated in the early 1900's. Through generations of Dukart and Gaub cattle ranchers and farmers, names and brands respected throughout the cattle industry, a legacy was born and has continued to this day. Dukart's Ranch of Fallon, Montana, in Cooperation with the Last Drink Ranch of Cabin Creek, Montana and other local rancers, these cattle are known to be nothing less than quality All-Natural beef livestock. The cattle summer below Montana's Big Sky Country on open range natural grasses, free to roam and graze on thousands of acres owned by the two ranches. The quality of taste and texture is unmistakable when finished between 60 and 90 days before processing. Through this generational process, Dukart's Ranch is confident that our products will ensure higher than satisfactory results. All cattle are cared for and processed by local small business packers.
